Meetings are necessary sometimes.
It usually happens to gather feedbacks, make decision, brainstorming, etc.
Meetings are expensive as it requires group of people time & attention to be useful.
Lack of meeting goals or objectives are disastrous. Discussion are not fully participated by attendees because likely they’re confused what the meeting need from them or where it is heading.
Productive meetings require clear communicated goals. Expected outcome are acknowledged & understood by the participants.
Additionally, be careful with back-to-back & long duration meeting. A research is suggesting it will hurt our brain.
Maybe, first try to think again do we really need a meeting at all? If yes, responsibly make it productive & effective.
